Ok, so this may not fall under my usual categories of fried, covered in cheese, or dipped in chocolate; but it is seasoned thoroughly with salt so it gets a pass.
I HAVE A LUNCHTIME INFATUATION WITH BENIHANA.
Yes, the Japanese hibachi steakhouse. The same place that bops you on the head and takes a photo if you tell them its your birthday. I have been there 3 times in the past week. I can't stop. They have a fantabulous lunch special, which happens to price out the same as getting a sandwich and a bag a chips at any of the local deli's. In my book this definitely constitutes as more bang for your buck. I got to enjoy salad, hibachi chicken or steak (I go back and forth between the two), vegetable fried rice and veggies for around $10.
Ok, so what... I leave there smelling like hibachi, most of the chef's aren't even Japanese, and my fingers and toes swell to double their size because of the salt. But they have GINGER SAUCE and an onion volcano!
Enough said.
